Jason van de Pol
Jason focuses on (cross-border) finance transactions with particular expertise in leveraged finance and project finance. He is often consulted for structuring and documenting of debt finance transactions with an emphasis on leveraged finance and follow-on recapitalisations and other corporate finance transactions. He represents private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, financial institutions and alternative finance providers across all tiers of the debt capital structure.
Jason started his career in 2007 at Loyens & Loeff, where he worked in both their Amsterdam and London offices. Thereafter, he moved to the Amsterdam office of Baker McKenzie working mostly on project finance and renewable energy related transactions. Prior to founding Polestar Legal, Jason headed the banking and finance practice as a partner at BarentsKrans, where he worked on a wide array of financing transactions.
Jason studied business law at the University of Groningen and completed the renowed post-graduate course on financing and security rights at the Grotius Academy in 2016.
